ASSISTANT CONSUMER TECHNICAL INSIGHT MANAGER

1. Discuss strategic business problems related to product, portfolio and technology questions with stakeholders, and suggest the most appropriate research methodology and techniques to best answer a winning formulation.

2. Unleash insights that drive new product opportunities upon the analysis of trends, competitor watch, consumer need, usage behavior, and new technology impacting holistic product design.

3. Manage, supervise, and execute all phases of consumer product testing: (which includes) concept/ ideation with market & consumer understanding (implement technical U&A studies, sensory/ preference mapping etc., and translate them into actionable opportunities), early product testing, and final product testing (implement qualitative and quantitative approaches in close collaboration with R&D and Sensory & Consumer Insights (SCI-CTI) to validate product drivers of liking and forced choice).

4. Analyze diverse sources of consumer and product data by working closely with Technical Data Management (TDM-CTI) to uncover actionable insights supporting product promise and claims, portfolio management (to build category expertise and best practices of successful innovation), and business need.

– Min 4-5 years professional market research experience or FMCG companies related to Consumer Insights function, including project management, research design, execution and reporting.

– Appropriate educational background at B.Sc. or M.Sc. in food science, sensory science, social sciences or economics, marketing and the like.

– Strong consumer research skills – qualitative or quantitative (a mix is preferred).

– Proficiency in both setting research methods and delivering research results whether written reports or presentations.

– Demonstrating through knowledge of statistical approaches and software applied to data analysis.
